Purpose
The study of religion offers a deep and fascinating exploration into humanity's search for meaning. Through the study of religion students acquire a deeper understanding of ideas, beliefs and concerns that have influenced and continue to influence human existence. The Department is dedicated to fostering an environment that furthers religious understanding between the East and the West.

Nature
Doctor of Religion will deal with contemporary critical theory in the academic study of religious philosophical themes, doctrines and theories of different religious thought systems and an advanced working knowledge of major religious socio-cultural traditions.

Admission Requirements
For admission of the Doctor of Religion, candidates should have knowledge and experiences related with healing ministry.

 

Required documents and fee

•  Application Form I and II: an application is valid for one year.
•  Personal Statement (in 250 words or more) describing reasons for wanting to study with confession of faith.
•  Resume
•  Official transcripts of all academic work undertaken since graduation from high school. A final official transcript indicating that M.A. degree or its equivalent has been granted should be submitted.
•  Application Fee ($50)


Degree Requirements
Applicants must have a grade average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 or its equivalent in their MAR, MRE. or M. Div. course of studies. This program requires 54 hours of course credit inclusive of the dissertation or project thesis.

Plans of Study
Doctor of Religion program requires 54 credits to graduate.
