Purpose
The purpose of Missiology degree program is designed to educate leaders for specialized expertise on Missiology and cognate disciplines for research and teaching.

Nature
The program of study leading to the Doctor of Missiology degree is an advanced professional degree in preparation for leadership roles in cross-cultural ministries.

Specialization
Candidates are expected to select their area of specialization and will do their Doctoral Project within that area. In this project they may focus on such area of mission as the following: Mission Communication, World Mission History, Mission Strategy, Missionary and Spirituality, Mission Culture, Paul's Mission, Issues on World Missions, etc.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Doctor of Missiology is on the basis of high competence in theology and ministry as well as motivation to do research in a recognized area of mission.

Required documents and fee

•  Application Form I and II: an application is valid for one year.
•  Personal Statement (in 250 words or more) describing reasons for wanting to study with confession of faith.
•  Resume
•  Official transcripts of all academic work undertaken since graduation from high school. A final official transcript indicating that M.A. degree or its equivalent has been granted should be submitted.
•  Application Fee ($50)

 

Degree Requirements
Applicants must have a grade average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 or its equivalent in their M.A. or M.Div. course of studies. This program requires 54 hours of course credit inclusive of the dissertation or project thesis.

Plans of Study
Doctor of Missiology program requires 54 credits to graduate. Each student  is encouraged to complete two-year recommended programs of study.
