The Bachelor of Missiology (B.Miss.) The B.Miss Degree is designed to equip persons for essential functions and ministries of the Church as he/she engages in mission of Jesus Christ in the Indian/Asian context. It is an integrative study programme, making use of Biblical, Theological, Pastoral, Missiological, Religious, Cultural, Social, Linguistic and Communication Approaches, for preparing workers for the mission of God.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND PLANS OF STUDY

All Bachelors programs require minimum of 128 credits to graduate. The graduation requirements for each level of degree program including specific number of credits to be completed are as follows.

 

Bible (54 credits)

N ew Testament Studies (24 credits)

  •             Old Testament Studies (9 credits)
  •             Bible Electives (21 credits)

Theology/History (33 credits)

  •     Theology/Doctrine (12 credits)
  •      Church History (9 credits)
  •      Theology/History Electives (12 credits)

 

Missiological Studies (12 credits)

  •     Cultural Anthropology (3 credits)
  •     History of World Mission (3 credits)
  •     Missionary Life and Work (3 credits)
  •     Modern Mission Strategy (3 credits)

Practical Theology/Ministries (29 credits)

  •      Practical Theology/Ministries Courses (6 credits)
  •     Church Organization/Administration Course (3 credits)
  •     Homiletics Elective (6 credits)
  •     Practical Theology/Counseling or Educational Ministries Electives (14 credits)
