The Bachelor of Religion Program is to prepare students for effective Christian ministry through the integration of academic coursework and applied studies. The program offers a broad biblical, theological, and religion (Christian studies) foundation to prepare for such ministries.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS AND PLANS OF STUDY

All Bachelors programs require minimum of 128 credits to graduate. The graduation requirements for each level of degree program including specific number of credits to be completed are as follows.

 

Religious Studies (66 credits)

  •     Religious Core Courses  (30 credits)
  •     Religious Historical Courses (9 credits)
  •     Religious Electives (27 credits)

Theology/History (33 credits)

  •     Theology/Doctrine (21 credits)
  •     Theology/History Electives (12 credits)

Practical Theology/Ministries (29 credits)

  •     Practical Theology/Ministries Courses (6 credits)
  •     Church Organization/Administration Course (3 credits)
  •     Homiletics Elective (6 credits)
  •     Practical Theology/Counseling or Educational Ministries  Electives (14 credits)

Total credits required for graduation: 128
