Covenant University (C.U.) has been founded by Immanuel Faith Church which is a non-profit Christian church incorporated since 1993 in California, U.S.A. Immanuel Faith Church is dedicated to spreading the Gospel both in the U.S.A. and abroad. Covenant's academic and other ministry services are assisting local churches to aggressively transform their world.

C.U. was developed for education and training on a local and international basis. From the beginning of the New Testament era, the Lord has used the local church and its pastoral leadership to teach and train its people for God's service. C.U. is an instrument to be used by and for the local church to fulfill its calling.

C.U's main campus is located in Summit Valley, California and its admissions office is located in a convenient urban area at Stanton in Southern California. As a part of global education endeavors, Covenant has extensions located in metro New York, Seoul and Kimhae, Korea, and Australia. Covenant will continue to reach out to the world with training and education opportunities.

Covenant University is committed to high academic achievement and excellence in every aspect. With that in mind, we have established outstanding programs to train Christian leaders for effective service.

Covenant University has eight major academic departments that provide a well-rounded educational mix for current objectives. The academic departments are as follows:

1. Department of Theology

2. Department of Christian Education

3. Department of Christian Counseling

4. Department of World Missions

5. Department of Church Music

6. Department of Healing

7. Department of Religious Studies

8. Department of Religious Social Welfare

It is our hope to add departments in practical ministry as the need arises.
